Get ready to immerse yourself in a world of imagination and creativity at the 16th West Park Arts Fest! Presented by West Park Cultural Center, this beloved annual event is returning to West Fairmount Park on Saturday, June 8th, 2024, from 1:00 to 6:00 pm. It’s a day filled with fun and excitement for the whole family, highlighting the vibrant arts and cultural diversity of Philadelphia.

A Haven for Young Creatives

At the heart of the festival lies the Children’s Activity Zone, a haven for young artists, scientists, and explorers. Led by passionate instructors and volunteers, children of all ages will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of enriching activities designed to spark their imaginations and nurture their creativity.

Artmaking Activities: From painting and drawing to crafting and sculpting, children can unleash their inner artists and create their own masterpieces to take home. With guidance from experienced instructors, the possibilities are endless!

Face Painting: Transform into a butterfly, a tiger, or a superhero with the stroke of a brush! Our talented face painters will bring children’s imaginations to life with vibrant designs and whimsical creations.

Science Exploration: Dive into the fascinating world of science with interactive experiments and demonstrations. Children will have the chance to explore concepts like gravity, chemistry, and more through hands-on activities that are as educational as they are entertaining.

Fairmount Park Conservancy “Play Space”: Let loose and play in the Fairmount Park Conservancy “Play Space,” where kids can climb, slide, and explore to their heart’s content. It’s the perfect place for children to burn off energy and make new friends in a safe and welcoming environment.

More Than Just Fun and Games

In addition to the Children’s Activity Zone, families can enjoy a wide range of entertainment and attractions throughout the festival. From live music and dance performances to art vendors and historical trolley tours, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
