Nishat (she/her) is a junior studying Cognitive Science and Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Her work explores the intersection of human cognition, creativity, and technology, with a focus on building tools and experiences that make STEM more accessible and engaging. She has experience in software engineering and design through roles at companies including Verizon and CareerDay, as well as through her leadership in student organizations such as the National Society of Black Engineers and Penn Spark.
At danceLogic, Nishat brings her passion for mentorship and creating inclusive spaces to inspire girls to see themselves as coders, creators, and innovators. She is especially excited to connect coding to creativity and self-expression, encouraging students to find joy in problem-solving and confidence in their own voices.
