West Park Cultural Center is pleased to present the 16th annual West Park Arts Fest on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
West Park Arts Fest brings together numerous organizations and institutions from across the city to make a truly special free event in West Fairmount Park. All ages enjoy exciting performances and engage in art making and other activities on South Concourse Drive between East Memorial Hall Drive and 41st Street. For 2024 Fairmount Park Conservancy will include their newly installed Play Space as part of the Arts Fest Kid Zone.
West Park Arts Fest participating arts, cultural, and community partners have included: The Franklin Institute, Please Touch Museum, Mann Center for the Performing Arts, Philadelphia Zoo, Shofuso Japanese House and Garden, African American Museum of Philadelphia, Tree House Books, Mill Creek Community Partnership and many others
PURPOSE
The West Park Arts Fest has become a signature event in West Fairmount Park for the purpose of bringing communities together in the park to celebrate the arts, cultural diversity, and talent of Philadelphia while promoting greater awareness of our city park and the area’s history and heritage.

FEATURED ACTIVITIES
Music Main Stage
An exciting line-up of outstanding bands and vocalists. The music stage will include a dynamic range of funk-inspired music from Funk and Fusion, to Jazz, Rock and Soul.
2nd Stage
Performances represent Philadelphia’s cultural diversity and outstanding talent featuring professional and youth performers in dance, music, spoken word, and more.
Children’s Activity Zone
Art making, performance, science activities, book give-a-way, face painting, and an exhibition of children and youth artwork.
The West Park Arts Fest is a family friendly event that provides fun and learning for all ages.
Handmade Marketplace
A vibrant marketplace of beautiful handmade items by artists and crafters will be featured. Other vendors include food, corporate, nonprofit, and direct sellers.
ATTENDEE PROFILE
West Park Arts Fest draws individuals and families of all ages from all neighborhoods across Philadelphia. Arts Fest attendees represent Philadelphia’s ethnic and cultural diversity, including engaging the city’s majority African American population. A significant portion of attendees come from West Philadelphia neighborhoods (University City, Mantua, Overbrook, Wynnefield, and Parkside). According to our survey, the average Arts Fest attendees are women aged 34-45. The West Park Arts Fest is an opportunity to showcase your company and engage in community support celebrating the arts of Philadelphia.
